This Privacy Policy explains how 10 Min Mailbox ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our disposable email service at https://10minmailbox.com (the "Service"). We built this Service around privacy, and we collect as little as possible.
1. The short version
- We do not require an account, name, or password.
- Disposable inboxes and all messages are automatically deleted after about 10 minutes.
- We use cookies and third-party advertising (Google AdSense) only with your consent.
- We never sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
Email content (temporary)
When mail is sent to a disposable address you generate, we temporarily store the message (sender, subject, and body) in ephemeral edge storage so you can read it. This data is automatically and permanently deleted after approximately 10 minutes via an expiry timer. We do not archive, back up, or read it.
Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and to deliver the Service. This is processed as part of normal network operation.
Information from cookies and ads
If you consent, our advertising partner (Google) and its vendors may set cookies and collect data to show and measure ads. See sections 4 and 5.
3. How we use information
- To operate the disposable inbox and display incoming mail to you.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse or spam.
- To display advertising that helps keep the Service free (with consent).
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used.
4. Cookies and consent
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site functioning. Advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you click "Accept" in our consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. 5. Advertising — Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. When you consent to advertising cookies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our Service and/or other sites.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

5b. Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate, how the Service is used. Under Google Consent Mode, analytics runs without cookies and without storing identifiers until you accept; after you accept, it may set analytics cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed and approximate, non-precise location. 6. Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process strictly necessary data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure Service, and we process advertising/analytics data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
7. Data retention
Email messages and disposable inboxes are deleted automatically after roughly 10 minutes. We do not maintain long-term records of inbox contents. Advertising cookies persist according to the partner's settings until they expire or you clear them.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Since we don't hold accounts and inbox data self-deletes within minutes, most requests are satisfied by that automatic deletion. For other requests, contact us at support@10minmailbox.com.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. International transfers
Our infrastructure and advertising partners may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
